January 9, 2024 - NEW Rider Deposit Policy
For riders who are NEW to KTRA and pay out of pocket for lessons.
Due to individuals in the past signing up for a spot and then becoming MIA when payment is due or canceling last minute before session starts without making a payment we have decided to enforce this policy as Revenues are vital to our Budget as a not-for-profit registered charity.
All non-funded riders (therapeutic or community) will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit to reserve their spot. The deposit will be the cost of one month of lessons along with an annual membership fee. The deposit/membership fee will be due upon receipt (we will send one reminder email). If payment is not received then your spot will be forfeited.
The deposit will be applied towards your full session invoice total.
Deposit Rates:
Therapeutic Rider - Non-funded - 30min Semi-Private - $200
Therapeutic Rider - Non-funded - 30min Private - $240
Community Rider - 30min Semi-Private - $260
Community Rider - 30min Private - $320
Thank you,

The reality is that cost keeps 1 in 3 Canadian kids out of organized sport. KidSport provides grants to help cover those costs to ensure that no kid is ever left watching from the sidelines.
Apply for a Grant - KidSport Kamloops (kidsportcanada.ca)
KidSport™ considers the social and economic barriers facing the athlete’s family when determining eligibility for funding. Children 18 and younger could be eligible for up to $625 per child, per calendar year (January – December). Parent/guardians may apply more than one time in a calendar year but the total amount of grant(s) that will be given will not exceed $625. Sport activities must be affiliated with the member sport organizations of Sport BC and demonstrate a sustained sport experience (a season of sport led by a qualified coach) for a minimum of 6 weeks and include at least one session per week. Applications must be received prior to, or at the beginning of the requested season of sport.
