We are not currently offering any Public Riding Lessons.
Round 1 and Round 2 for our 2023 Spring Session Registration is now closed.
Registration for our Summer Session will open in May (see more details below).
For 2023 we are offering four sessions:
Winter Session (Jan-March) - 10 weeks - Started January 9th. Those who signed up for the Winter Session and did not participate in our 2022 Fall Session have first priority for our 2023 Summer Session.
Spring Session (Apr-June) - 12 Weeks - Starts April 3rd - Registration will open in February in two rounds. Round One will be participants from our 2022 Fall Session who have first priority for our 2023 Spring Session. Round Two will be participants from our 2023 Winter Session and New Riders (waitlist) who will have an opportunity to fill any spaces that haven't been filled from Round One.
Summer Session (July-Aug) - 6 Weeks - Starts July 10th - Registration will open in May. Again this will happen in two rounds. Round One will be participants from our 2023 Winter Session who have first priority for our 2023 Summer Session. Round Two will be participants from our 2023 Spring Session and New Riders (waitlist) who will have an opportunity to fill any spaces that haven't been filled from Round One.
Fall Session (Sept-Oct) - 8 Weeks - Starts September 5th - Registration will open in July. Another two rounds. Round One will be participants from our 2023 Spring Session who have first priority. Round Two will be participants from our Summer Session and New Riders (waitlist).
There is a chance that you could participate in all 4 sessions.
The reality is that cost keeps 1 in 3 Canadian kids out of organized sport. KidSport provides grants to help cover those costs to ensure that no kid is ever left watching from the sidelines.

KidSport™ considers the social and economic barriers facing the athlete’s family when determining eligibility for funding. Children 18 and younger could be eligible for up to $625 per child, per calendar year (January – December). Parent/guardians may apply more than one time in a calendar year but the total amount of grant(s) that will be given will not exceed $625. Sport activities must be affiliated with the member sport organizations of Sport BC and demonstrate a sustained sport experience (a season of sport led by a qualified coach) for a minimum of 6 weeks and include at least one session per week. Applications must be received prior to, or at the beginning of the requested season of sport.
