Kamloops Therapeutic Riding Association is located on a beautiful 10-acre farm beside the Thompson River. The facility includes 2 outdoor riding arenas and is surrounded by countless river trails. Every day will be filled with time spent with each child's “own” special horse. This includes a daily riding lesson and stable management lesson. (*Stable Management should prepare Campers for the written portion of the Equine Canada English Rider Levels 1-2). Campers will learn a variety of horsemanship skills on and off the horse and will partake in the day-to-day care each horse requires. The fun doesn't stop! We have art, crafts & outdoor games too.
More advanced riders may work on jumping and dressage tests.
